Original: Kaze no tani no NaushikaI think this is the first anime I watched. Made in 1984 by Hayao Miyazaki, Valley of the Wind was one of the best anime OVA-s of that time. Story takes place in post apocalyptic world, 1000 years after the event that destroyed most of Earth's ecosystem. Nausicaa is a young princess of the Valley. Her home was invaded by Pejite, one of two biggest countries. She was taken hostage, but she manage to escape. A big swarm of giant insects is threatening to destroy the Valley, so Nausicaa needs to stop them...
